![]() If you do an application of Wipe-out and it doesn't get things clean in just an hour or so, you can leave it in longer, even overnight, and it'll get things clean without any harm to your bore. ![]() We now can give them confidence that they can use a Brushless product (Wipe-Out ),to clean competition firearms in 25 MINUTES OR LESS, when combined with Accelerator. They had this to say, about using Wipe-out comparing with using a brush with a traditional strong solvent like Sweets: "We found that 8 hours of soaking did a better job on a badly-fouled factory barrel than did a full hour of brushing and patching with Sweets 7.62 solvent, the strongest stuff we know." COMPETITIVE SHOOTERS have limited amounts of time between relays. I don't know about that some pretty serious shooters, the benchrest competition folks at, are highly recommending the Wipe-out as a means to completely eliminate brushing. I still use Wipe out on the fast shooters, but on a few of the scoped guns have gone back to Kroil and Shooters Choice or now days Eliminator. Probable the bore is clean enough, however, an interesting experiment is cleaning your "clean" bore using a brush with Kroil and then Shooters Choice (wiping with patches and jag between each step).
